A believer in the two pillars of empathy and expertise, Dr. Urvashi Bhushan set up Cheery Smiles Kids Dentistry to provide modern dental care exclusively to infants, children and teenagers, in a warm and friendly setting.
She completed both her BDS and her MDS in Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry at the Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS), Delhi University. After her formal training, she worked as a Senior Resident at two of India’s leading government institutions, MAIDS and AIIMS Delhi, and has since worked as a consultant pediatric dentist at several clinics in North Delhi.
During her academic years, Dr. Urvashi published original research in peer-reviewed journals. She brings the same rigour, discipline and curiosity to her practice, and stays connected to academia by regularly attending and presenting at leading dental forums in India.
To spread awareness about children’s dental health, she creates videos for parents on Instagram and YouTube. She gives every child who visits the clinic the same care and affection she would give her own son.
