Dr. Urvashi Bhushan, BDS and MDS (Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry) from MAIDS Delhi, is an experienced, compassionate and skilful practitioner of her discipline. Her academic rigour drives the clinic to offer the best and latest services in pediatric dentistry. The clinic is her passion project, and she makes it a point to treat every child with the utmost empathy and care.

A warm and inviting clinic

Visiting a dentist can bring feelings of dread and apprehension for many. Especially for young children, who may have only heard negative things about dental visits, it can be really stressful. We have taken particular care to ensure that they don’t get the feeling of walking into a clinic: the design and décor are child-friendly. The walls are painted with their favourite animals, and there are lots of toys, games and books, and smart televisions to keep them engaged.

Conveniently located, away from the hustle and bustle

It is easy to reach us; we are about 1 km off the Outer Ring Road. If you are coming from West Delhi (Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Paschim Vihar and nearby), take the elevated Outer Ring Road towards Rohini and exit at the Prashant Vihar intersection (a few hundred metres before the Madhuban Chowk underpass). From there, we are 5 minutes away.

If you are coming from East or North Delhi, take the elevated Outer Ring Road towards Mukarba Chowk, and take a U-turn at Madhuban Chowk after getting off the flyover, to take the same exit as above.

By Delhi Metro, the nearest station is Rohini East (about 1 km).

Highlights of the clinic include happy gas (laughing gas) for anxious children, a ceiling-mounted TV for distraction, and the best filling and restoration materials, including Equia Forte (high-viscosity glass ionomer), Twinky Star, composites and bioceramics. Magnification loupes help us deliver precise dental care.

Hygiene and sterilisation

We take hygiene and infection control very seriously. Our B-class autoclave ensures every instrument is perfectly sterilised, and a UV chamber keeps sterilised instruments stored properly. Distilled water, the purest form of water, is the only water used in our dental chair and for autoclaving. Clinic procedures are clearly defined, and our staff are meticulous about biomedical waste segregation and clinic hygiene.

Expertise in behaviour management

Treating a child is very different from treating an adult. Children have a lower pain threshold and can feel much more anxious and intimidated by dental visits. We empathise with that, and we have created not just a clinic but a warm and friendly space where little ones can come, play, relax and have their oral health needs taken care of. We use special techniques such as tell-show-do, pretend play, distraction with the ceiling-mounted TV, and desensitisation. Happy gas helps reduce anxiety and put children at ease during treatment, and oral sedation is also offered for very young children who are not yet able to cooperate.

Exclusively for infants, toddlers, children and teenagers

Our clinic is exclusively for children aged 0–18 years. Every corner of the clinic is dedicated to little ones: the waiting area, the colourful treatment room, the toys and books, and the child-sized dental equipment.
